Step into the Dancing Dog Cafe on Albert Street and head towards the back, through the ornate Red Room and take a left. There you'll find the door to The Dog Theatre.

Seating 50 at a max or 40 comfortably, this space is adorned with white walls and polished floorboads. Custom-made white rostra allow the space to be completely flexible, so the playing space and audience area can change with each season.

Sound-proofed to keep out the revelry in the courtyard or the Footscray street life, only the occasional rhythmic sound of the train out the back briefly enters the world being created on stage.
